Heavy Rainfall Expected Across Various Regions of the Kingdom
The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted heavy rainfall across multiple regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The rainfall, ranging from light to heavy intensity, is expected to commence from tomorrow (Friday) and continue until the following Sunday. The weather conditions will also be accompanied by gusty winds reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h, raising concerns of dust storms and possible flash floods, hailstorms, and high waves along the coasts.
Regions to be affected by this weather phenomenon include Tabuk, the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Al-Madinah, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan.
According to the center’s report, the rainfall will impact Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, and Hail on Friday and Saturday, Tabuk and Al-Madinah on Friday, Riyadh and Al-Baha from Friday to Sunday, the Eastern Province, Asir, and Jazan from Saturday to Sunday, and Al-Qassim on Saturday.
