“It was also nice to see the musicians playing in the pubs that we all play in on a weekly basis and it was a nice thing to be part of.”

“It was amazing. I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t actually believe it until the day of the filming because I was just like, ‘This isn’t actually happening, this is all a dream.’
“It was amazing and a great experience. The whole team at the Graham Norton Show were so welcoming and lovely.
“We had a great time. It was just a really nice experience to be part of and it was surreal.
“When we were actually playing the tune, I was just like, ‘What is going on? This is amazing’.
“It was great to play with him and it was great to be part of the show.”
What’s next for Rita?
“I think we’re just going to keep playing gigs with Béal Bán and hopefully record an album in the summer.
“We’re also planning on doing a tour of Ireland in the autumn time so I’m really looking forward to that.
“I’m also going to continue teaching because I’m a teacher now as well as an architect so I’m really looking forward to that as well.”
