Anche Adler Entertainement guarda verso Oriente

At the 47th edition of the Sorrento Professional Cinema Days – Next Generation, Adler Entertainment presents its 2025 lineup and announces a collaboration with Dynit, one of the leading Italian companies specializing in anime and manga. “We have realized that there is an audience eagerly awaiting these products,” states Managing Director Mattia Della Puppa and Head of Theatrical Distribution Aldo Lemme.

This year’s proposal includes three titles, with the most anticipated being the tearjerker “Voglio mangiare il tuo pancreas,” a live-action version of Yoru Sumino’s novel, which was realized in 2017, a year before the anime directed by Shin’ichirô Ushijima that also achieved success in Italy. Additionally, there are the melodrama “April come She Will” by Tomokazu Yamada and “Your Eyes Tell” by Takahiro Mihi featuring music by BTS.

Adler will focus on events, starting with “The Opera! – Arie per un’eclissi,” the cinematic debut of Davide Livermore and Paolo Gep Cucco, screening from January 20th to 22nd with a special preview at La Scala in Milan. The myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, transposed to modern times, comes alive in a futuristic musical that defies genres, the first national film entirely produced in virtual reality and created in collaboration with Dolce&Gabbana.

“Ago – Prima di tutti” is a documentary dedicated to Giacomo Agostini, the legendary pilot of the 1970s, positioned for early March to coincide with the start of the motorcycle world championship. “Blur – To the End” tells the story of the reunion after 10 years of one of the most influential bands of the last thirty years. Not only events, but also on the list are the American comedy “Il padre dell’anno” starring Michael Keaton and Mila Kunis, and the psychological thriller “The Thing with Feathers,” an adaptation of Max Porter’s novel starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
